Kayla Krystin opens a new, powerful chapter in her musical career with her first German-language single, “I brenn.” (i am burning) The song, sung in dialect, will be released on January 30, 2026, and stands for self-liberation, inner strength, and the courage to follow one's own path.

With “I brenn,” Kayla Krystin is also part of the national preliminary round for the 70th Eurovision Song Contest: “Vienna Calling – Who sings for Austria?” will be broadcast live on ORF 1 on February 20, 2026, starting at 8:15 p.m. The show will take place in Vienna and will introduce the 31-year-old to a wide national audience. “The ESC is a unique opportunity,” she says, "where else do so many different facets and musical genres come together?
